But is there
“Panoptic Mirror”
in any of them? No, I wouldn't
think so (fine! So maybe there might be!) and
this time, we'll
be breaking the Mirror! (Not with our hands!
Ok?)
Broken Mirror Snr.
– G.U.R
As you can see, the entire
point of this deck is to pull out either
Spellbinder or Panoptic Mirror. After that, it’s
as easy as saying
“Game Set!”
(not really, but still,).
Savage Beating and Raven
Guild Master can be a complete insanity. Raven
Guild Master will probably on top of their
“kill-it-NOW”
list after it gets Double Strike and
unblockable. This deck being slower than I would've
liked, a bit of control sounded good. Besides,
Unblockable/flying + Spellbinder + Savage
Beating = Game : provided that you chose to have
another Combat phase every time for Savage
Beating.
Now, let’s
get to the star of the show; the Panoptic
Mirror. Imprint Savage Beating on it, and you
can choose to give all you’re
creatures Double Strike in every one of your
turns, or give yourself extra Combat phases.
Deconstruct can be deadly; prize of extra GGG
every turn for destroying an artifact (and
laughing at your opponent). Sadly, there is not
many ways of using this mana, but I’m
quite sure you could figure it out
– Darksteel Colossus,
Krosan Cloudscraper, or even Explosive
Vegetation. Fabricate is there to speed things
up (sort of, anyway).
You’re
best bet in this deck is to imprint Savage
Beating in order to break Mirror or Binder, but
this is a bit too slow for weenies and soldiers
(as I painstakingly experienced) who could kill
you before you could put down either one of the
imprinters. So here it is, the amazing,
dazzling, and incredibly stupidly named deck;
the Broken Mirror Jr.!
Broken Mirror Jr.
– R.U.W
Again, Panoptic Mirror is the
key to the imaginary door (my imaginary friend
Bob is on the other side
– joking!) which
– provided that you’re
opponent doesn't
like playing Platinum Angel
– should make you win.
Most of them are pretty straight forward,
imprint and abuse, or just abuse if don’t
have any imprints. Use Counterspell or Raise the
Alarm (this is soooo annoying) imprinted on
Isochron Scepter (otherwise it’s
pointless) and repetitively mill you’re
opponent’s
deck down (as abused in Broken Mirror Snr.)
until they scream; in which case you'll
pause to laugh and then continue sending your
opponent into thoughtless misery.
If, in any case, you’re
thinking of muscling out with either decks, don’t
even try. Raven Guild Master will be stepped on,
ripped apart, chewed, spat out, and then
trampled on until it resembles bit of a rag;
which is obviously not wanted (unless, of
course, you’re
a crazy psychopath just wanting destruction and
death). And same goes for Frogmite. They’re
there to help you keep alive for a little while,
not to see if they have a chance against 13/13
(although it would be pretty fun! Kamikaze
Frogs!). Raven Guild Master, which should be
around #10 of their kill-kill!-kill! List,
should jump to #2 provided that you become an
excruciating pain in the butt (#1 being You,
obviously).
Well, That’s
it for me today.
‘Till Next time!

noticed that brackets are my thoughts?)
